Plan B

To date, only 15-percent has submitted their Personal Data. Few photos are in place. My forecast is correct; only few will response.

I and the rest of the volunteers will focus on Plan B. I will maximize whatever is there to publish a yearbook for the batch. I will post another update after a week or two.

The Market

“What compels a man to leave home to sail out into the treacherous sea? What constrains a man to set out for home after having ridden the crest of many waves?”

“The Market” sheds light into these crucial questions. It tackles the restiveness that propels mortals to abandon familiar comforts for uncertain pursuits. In this novel, Neil Erich Galicia invites his readers to accompany Kent as he sits on a bus headed for the home he had left seven years ago. This journey towards home is pregnant with profound musings and an intense mix of emotions. In the few hours that it takes to reach his hometown, he grapples with the many roads that his heart, mind, body, and spirit had simultaneously traveled in the past. Desires with neither face nor name had driven him to search for that which would quiet the discontent of his heart, the turmoil of his mind, the agitation of his body, and the vexations of his spirit. Now battered in many ways but imbued with wisdom, strength, and greater clarity, home has beckoned. He resolutely heeds its call. The novel unravels the gripping manner in which this decision wraps itself around his being.

When Kent finally steps foot again on the same grounds that he had once played on as a child and walked upon in his youth, he sees life once more with fresh eyes. As he does, he touches a bit of eternity in all its simplicity.

With uncanny sensitivity, Neil’s novel prompts readers to relive the experience of having been paralyzed by life’s many thunderbolts only to be surprised by fresh energy anew. “The Market” reminds them that in the place where life began may be found most of that which they are looking for.

How difficult it is to edit our pix

First, I would like to thank Jovian, Aisa and Candy for providing us some pictures. They are the firsts to respond to this need. But the pictures are not yet sufficient to complete the entire book of our annual. Also, I remember way back second and third year, we used to avail photograph – either individual or tropa – at Klicks (tama ba spelling?) and RJ. We could use that for the yearbook. Aisa provided us with some of his individual collections in her circle of friends. Thanks Aisa.

Please find some pix of the best get-together in HS submitted by Jovian, Aisa and Candy. Be guided from time to time, I’ll be providing updates in this blog regarding the progress of our yearbook’s publishing. So please always visit our blog and disseminate the information to all our batchmates.

I am just encountering difficulty in the editing since the pictures are old and printed in a small size. I am applying all my learning in Adobe Photoshop, trying to increase the resolutions and make the lighting and coloring balanced. Since there are also some unwanted objects included in some I consider good pictures, it takes time for me to fix them. So I guess everyone can help me by submitting the “really” the best photographs.

For now, there are less than ten who submitted Personal Data. Please start submitting and please leave messages in our blog. It makes us feel re-energize knowing batchmates are participating in this undertaking.

Let us maximize our technology to reconnect and renew our friendships with everyone in Bats Dos Mil Dos. I hope a barrier that divides every section, every group (tropa) and every individual during HS has been torn down long ago. I hope everyone is mature. Whatever your participation in those best four years, you are a part of the ups and downs of our batch. And together we journeyed those years.
